Versatile Barrier Gate Operator for medium to high cycle applications

bl229 barrier gates The Model BL-229 Barrier Gate Operator is designed and manufactured by Automatic Systems. The BL-229 is typically utilized for medium to high traffic volumes and for wide lane management too. It is designed to stand up to the harshest weather environments and operating conditions. The BL-229 operator is a heavy-duty high performance barrier gate with fast operational speed, specially designed for large capacity industrial facilities.

The BL-229 is a real “work horse”. It offers cost effective control of vehicle access for 10ft to 20 ft lanes. The versatile BL-229 is extremely dependable and reliable, at the same time providing advanced safety features for both vehicles and pedestrians. The BL-229 is capable of utilizing up to (20ft) barrier arms, and can fully open in one to four seconds depending upon arm length.

TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS

-Electrical power supply: single phase 120VAC, 60Hz.
-Power consumption (rest/movement): 55 / 500 W (at maximum speed and without options).
-Three-phase asynchronous 250W motor.
-Life-lubricated worm-screw speed reduction unit.
-Aluminium tube boom arm, with round section diameter 3.25".
-Length of boom arm (L): 10 to 20ft. Beyond 15ft., a standard tip support at the end of the arm is supplied.
-Operational temperature: between –4° and +113°F.
-Operation unperturbed by winds of 75mph.
-Minimum operation time: from 1 to 4 seconds according to the boom length and the options chosen.
-Net weight (excluding arm) 190lbs.
-MCBF (mean cycles between failures): 2,000,000, with normal maintenance.
