BARRIER GATE OPERATOR The Model BL33 Barrier Gate Operator is designed and manufactured by Automatic Systems. The BL33 is typically utilized for medium traffic volumes and narrow lane commercial and industrial applications. It is designed to stand up to the harshest weather environments and operating conditions. The heavy-duty BL33 gate is required to withstand any vertical or horizontal attempts to open it, whether intentional or due to natural causes. The optional electro-magnetic tip support further reinforces the ability of the barrier to resist efforts to obtain UN-authorized access. The BL33 is a real formidable barrier. It is most often utilized for asset protection, keeping valuables in, as much as preventing vehicle access. Common applications include: parking areas where there is a high risk of vandalism or theft. Areas such as: long-term parking at airports; car rental companies; outside inventory storage facilities, etc. The BL33 is extremely dependable and reliable, at the same time providing advanced safety features for both vehicles and pedestrians. The BL33 is capable of utilizing barrier arms up to 13 feet, and can fully open in 3 to 5 seconds.

SAFETY: 1.   Completed Cycle Locking: Barrier arm mechanically locked in the fully completed 90º vertical up position, and in the completed horizontal down position. 2.   HD Clutch: Dual Friction Disk: Torque limiter (Heavy-duty), which protects the electromechanical drive system, as well as both vehicles and pedestrians. 3.   Emergency Crank with safety circuit. 4.   Barrier arm safety pressure switch. Barrier arm safety sensor system. (See options). 5.   Power Failure: System will shut off and the clutch will maintain the barrier arm in its current position.
